To support children’s development, the role of the adult in the school environment requires skills that lead to partnership with parents. In this session, we will dig deep into our skill set and learn how to translate it so that parents not only understand our methods, but actively support their implementation.

Midtown Montessori will be providing CEU certificates to any educators who attend.

Between Parent & Child 

As we navigate the nuanced waters of communicating with children, we often struggle with the right words or the right “techniques” to get children to “just do what we want.” For parents, this seminar will offer solutions to healthy relationships with children that are proven and scientifically based. Educators who seek to work in partnership with parents will also gain knowledge that will assist parents in supporting their children at home.

Montessori & Our Future

Whether someone is a seasoned Montessorian guide or a parent considering Montessori for their own child, this event will offer insights into what we can gain from implementing Montessori practices in education and life at home. Light appetizers and beverages will be available. This event will also offer time for networking and socializing with other individuals who are interested in Montessori education.
